- 2 small striploin steaks (about 375 g total)
- 1 tsp Longo’s Montreal Steak Spice
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup Old El Paso Thick ’n Chunky Medium Salsa
- 8 Large Longo’s Flour Tortillas
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Longo’s Sour Cream and jalapeño peppers (optional)
Sprinkle steaks with steak spice on both sides. Grill on oiled grill over medium-high heat for about 8 minutes, turning once, or until desired doneness. Remove to cutting board and let rest for 3 minutes. Chop and set aside.
Combine cheese and salsa.
Divide cheese mixture evenly over 4 of the tortillas. Sprinkle each with chopped steak and cilantro, if using. Top with remaining tortillas and press gently to seal.
Grill tortillas on oiled grill over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning once, or until cheese starts to melt and tortillas are golden.
Cut each tortilla into quarters and serve with sour cream, jalapeño peppers and more salsa, if desired.
Tip: Substitute leftover grilled or cooked steak, chicken or pork to speed up this already quick dinner.
